Lewistown, Pa. — October 22 — On Wednesday morning, the Chief Logan Volunteer Fire Department received assistance from Rescue 14 from City Hook & Ladder #14, 317 Valley Street, in a car accident on Long Lane. Crews collaborated to stabilize the situation, handle hazards, and assist EMS personnel after units arrived to discover a single vehicle off the road.
During the autumn, Long Lane and neighboring rural roads frequently experienced poor visibility due to foggy morning weather. While emergency operations were in progress, firefighters assisted with traffic management and made sure the route remained safe.
