Mount Jewett, Pa. — October 27 — On Monday night, members of the Mt. Jewett Volunteer Fire Department, located at 1 Gallup Avenue, scheduled a team-building dodgeball game inside the station. While taking a break from routine training exercises, firefighters used the activity to concentrate on coordination, communication, and morale.

In order to promote wellness and improve cooperation, departments around rural Pennsylvania have placed a growing emphasis on providing members with the chance to collaborate in a stress-free setting. As the evening came to an end, crews reported a strong turnout and a positive mix of exercise and companionship.
