Martinsville, N.J. — October 21 —Martinsville Volunteer Fire Department and Green Knoll Fire units participated in a cooperative extrication training aimed at improving rescue abilities and coordination during automobile emergencies. The evening training included hands-on scenarios to assist firefighters in responding more swiftly to real-world events in their communities.

Crews alternated between stations to practice tool operations, patient access, stabilization techniques, and coordinated extrication strategies. The session gave members the opportunity to hone their skills in a controlled, realistic atmosphere.

The departments extended their appreciation to Daidone Electric Inc. for donating vehicles used in the training, allowing firefighters to work with actual materials they would encounter during roadway emergencies.
