BERGENFIELD, NJ - Firefighters responded to a reported car fire at 56 Meyns Place around 4:40 P.M. on November 19th. Deputy Chief Alex Kneisler arrived on scene and reported a working car fire with a one-story garage and a fence as an exposure. Engine 1 and Ladder 1 arrived shortly after, stretched an attack line and quickly knocked down the fire as crews assisted with overhaul. The fire was knocked down within 10 minutes, with minor heat extension to the fence and garage. No injuries were reported.
