Upper St. Clair, Pa. — November 13 —The Upper St. Clair Volunteer Fire Department concentrated this week's training on Vent-Enter-Search (VES) and vertical ventilation operations. Firefighters practiced venting windows from ground ladders, performing controlled entry, isolating rooms, and conducting rapid searches—all techniques required to quickly locate inhabitants in high-risk situations.
