Upper St. Clair, Pa. — October 23 — The Upper St. Clair Volunteer Fire Department has spent the last two weeks completing its yearly SCBA requalification, ensuring that firemen maintain proficiency with one of their most important pieces of equipment. The annual examination demands members to demonstrate skill in donning and doffing their SCBA, conducting emergency and MAYDAY procedures, and navigating a constructed obstacle course designed to imitate difficult fireground conditions.
