Schnecksville, Pa. — November 17 — Several volunteer fire departments from northern Lehigh County came together for a regional rescue training session at the Schnecksville Fire Department, located at 4550 Old Packhouse Road, P.O. Box 14, Schnecksville, Pennsylvania. Enhancing coordination, communication, and extrication abilities among agencies that frequently work together to respond to car accidents was the main goal of the joint drill.
Schnecksville firefighters received training alongside crews from Tri-Clover, Neffs, Laury's Station, New Tripoli, Lynnport Community Fire Co. No. 1, Weisenberg, and Germansville. In order to reinforce the procedures utilized during multi-agency responses, the scenario required participants to work through stabilization and tool operations as a cohesive team.
