Coplay, Pa. — November 7 — With the help of volunteers from Lowe's Home Improvement and members of the local community, the Coplay Fire Department, located at 165 Cherry St., Coplay, Pennsylvania, celebrated its last Red Vest Day. The event is a component of Lowe's nationwide volunteer program, which helps community organizations and fire departments with projects and facility upgrades.

Throughout the day, volunteers worked on a variety of station duties meant to assist regular operations and improve the working conditions for firefighters. In order to help the department maintain the station and get ready for winter, Lowe's also provided a new snow blower and tool chest.
