Allentown, Pa. — October 22 — Early in the morning, Greenawalds Fire/Rescue 11, located at 2500 Focht Ave. in Allentown, Pennsylvania, responded to a car accident involving entrapment near Mauch Chunk Road and Peachtree Road. With an eight-person crew, Rescue 11 and Rescue Engine 11 arrived and started the stabilisation and extrication process.
In order to safely access the patient, crews used established rescue procedures and coordinated tool operations during a partial side removal. After the patient was released, care was moved to Cetronia EMS for assessment and transportation.
