Bordentown Township, N.J. — October 28 — Firefighters from Bordentown Township Fire Districts #1 and #2 have spent the last three days participating in confined space rescue training with the Bordentown Sewer Authority. The training addressed vital rescue skills such as gas metering, rope and rigging, haul system operations, and patient packaging, all of which are necessary for successfully addressing confined-space incidents.

While these accidents are unusual, they pose considerable risks and necessitate a high level of cooperation and technical expertise. Bordentown firemen highlighted that ongoing, hands-on training keeps them ready for any situation. Crews stated that they are prepared to assist the community around the clock, every day of the year.
