Middletown Township, Pa. — October 17 — Middletown Fire Company No. 1 assisted Media Fire Hook and Ladder #1 on Friday evening at a dwelling fire in the 300 block of Vernon Street. Engine 50 arrived as the third-due engine, and Quint 50 operated as the second-due truck in the rear of the building. Crews supported fire suppression and overhaul for just over 90 minutes.
Middletown Car 1 (Chief Rigby), Rocky Run EMS, Tower 46, and several neighboring departments also responded to assist Media units. The incident was brought under control without further extension.
