Glen Gardner, N.J. — November 15 — Mutual-aid partners from around the region gathered on Saturday for a full day of hands-on training at the Hunterdon County Emergency Services Training Center. More than 50 volunteers gathered at 8 a.m. for a walkthrough before instructors launched live-fire situations to test and develop key abilities. Crews conducted six evolutions centered on firefighting, basement operations, and coordinated search and rescue. Instructors incorporated adjustments to each scenario to assist participants in improving their decision-making and collaboration under changing settings.

Departments from Hampton, Bloomsbury, Pattenburg, Franklin Township, and South Branch Emergency Services took part, along with supporting EMS units and rescue squads. High Bridge Fire Department provided dual-alert coverage while companies trained.
