Glen Gardner, N.J. — October 28 —National First Responders Day was commemorated today, a day formally established by Congress in 2017 and signed into law in 2019 to recognize the devotion of first responders across the country. The day honors the bravery, unwavering dedication, and selfless devotion of firefighters, police officers, EMTs, paramedics, and others who respond when communities need them the most.
