Clinton, N.J. — November 14 —The Clinton Fire Department officially welcomed Wagon 45, a new Pierce Enforcer fire engine, during a traditional push-in ceremony held Thursday night. The long-standing fire service tradition stems back to when workers manually brought horse-drawn apparatus back into the station after returning from an incident.

Wagon 45 will soon be fitted with a hose and equipment before going into full service. Once completed, the new engine will provide fire protection and emergency response to residents and visitors throughout the Clinton region
