Center Valley, Pa. — October 31 — Early on Friday morning, the Upper Saucon Volunteer Fire Department was called to a rollover car collision on Interstate 78 heading east at mile marker 63. Because of the location and traffic on the highway, Northampton County Station 16 was also sent to help.

When crews got there, they discovered a car overturned in the travel lane. In addition to helping EMS examine patients, firefighters stabilised the vehicle and looked for any risks including fluid leaks or battery problems. While rescuers worked on the scene, traffic was managed to provide a safe work space. After the car was taken out, the road was reopened without any more problems.
