October 22, 2025 —Paterson Fire Department reported that Tour 4 was dispatched today to 533 River Street for a possible structure fire. Upon arrival, crews located an active fire on the second floor of the building.
According to the department, firefighters made a rapid interior attack, quickly knocking down the fire and preventing further extension. The incident was overhauled and brought under control promptly, allowing the response to remain a single-alarm assignment.
The Paterson Fire Department commended Tour 4 for their efficient and effective work in containing the fire.
