Barnegat, N.J. — November 12 — Members of the Barnegat Fire Company attended a full-day training session at the Toms River Fire Academy, where they worked through a variety of hands-on situations aimed at improving operational readiness. Crews rehearsed hose line deployment, fire assault, search and rescue tactics, forceful entry, and basement fire operations—all of which are necessary for safe and effective firefighting. The agency thanked the academy teachers for their advice and for granting access to the training facility. Squad 11 was also thanked for their cooperation during the training.
