November 2, 2025 — The Whiting Fire Company Station 33 reported another busy month, highlighting the continued dedication of its all-volunteer membership.

In October, the department responded to 51 calls, bringing the year-to-date total to 486 emergency responses. Members noted that the steady call volume reflects the importance of maintaining strong training, readiness, and community commitment.

Station 33 emphasized that every response is handled by volunteers who consistently step up to serve their neighbors, day and night.
