Whiting Fire Co. Responds to Early-Morning MVA with Overturned Car

WHITING, NJ - The Whiting Fire Company Station 33 responded at 5:51 a.m. on November 4th to a motor vehicle accident involving an overturned vehicle on Route 539, between New Mexico Drive and Lacey Road.


Units 3310, 3320, 3303, and 3327 arrived to find the vehicle on its side. Assistant Chief 3310 established command and confirmed that no occupants were trapped.


Crews from Rescue 3303 stabilized the vehicle and mitigated fluid hazards, while Utility 3327 secured the roadway to ensure the safety of emergency personnel and passing motorists. Manchester EMS evaluated and provided care to the vehicle’s occupants, and the scene was later turned over to the Manchester Police Department for investigation.


The Whiting Fire Company emphasized the importance of coordinated response between fire, EMS, and law enforcement during early-morning incidents when visibility and traffic conditions can increase risk.
