November 12, 2025 — Members of the Barnegat Volunteer Fire Company Station 11 participated in a comprehensive training exercise at the Toms River Fire Training Center on Wednesday. The session included multiple hands-on scenarios designed to enhance operational skills and strengthen overall readiness.

Firefighters trained in hose line deployment, fire attack, search and rescue, forcible entry, and basement fire operations, giving members the opportunity to refine techniques in realistic, controlled conditions. The training emphasized coordination, safety, and effective response tactics—core components of the company’s commitment to protecting the community.

The department expressed its gratitude to the Toms River Fire Training Center instructors for their guidance and for granting access to the facility. Appreciation was also extended to Barnegat First Aid Squad (Squad 11) for providing standby support throughout the exercise.

The Barnegat Volunteer Fire Company noted that continuous training remains essential for maintaining firefighter safety and ensuring the highest level of service.
