On October 5, the East Petersburg Fire Company announced several leadership promotions, elevating Captain Caleb Simmers to Assistant Chief, Lieutenant John Stauffer to Captain, and Firefighter Jon Latsha to Lieutenant. The department also named three firefighters—Darren Reid, Krissy Silio, and Brian Harnly—as new officer trainees as they began formal leadership development. The fire company congratulated all members on their achievements and expressed appreciation for their dedication and ongoing service to the community.
