RIT and Rescue Scenarios Highlight Mt. Zion’s November Drills.

Lebanon, Pa. — November 4 — A number of interior training exercises on zero-visibility searches, patient rescues, mayday procedures, and firefighter-rescue operations were carried out by Mt. Zion Community Fire Company. In order to strengthen the abilities necessary to help a downed firefighter, crews also practiced Rapid Intervention Team (RIT) situations. The meeting promoted continued preparedness for the district's structure-fire response.
