DENVER, PA — November 12, 2025 — Firefighters at Denver Fire Company Station 13 spent Wednesday evening conducting vehicle rescue training, focusing on the no-relief cut dash lift technique.
Crews practiced making precision cuts and lifting the dashboard in a single motion, a method recognized for its ability to save significant time during vehicle extrications. The technique allows both sides of the dash to be lifted simultaneously, improving efficiency and helping rescuers access patients more quickly during real emergencies.
Station leadership emphasized the importance of continual hands-on training to maintain proficiency in modern extrication methods and ensure readiness for complex rescue situations.
