COLUMBIA, PA — October 22, 2025 — On Tuesday, Station 80 and several mutual aid companies responded to ASC for a reported building fire. Engine 80 arrived to find an active furnace fire inside the structure. Crews quickly isolated the incident, contained the hazard, and turned the situation over to on-site personnel for further handling.

Mutual aid assistance was provided by Companies 07, 76, 75, and York 41. Chief 801 held command of the incident.

The busy pace continued into Wednesday morning, as Station 80 volunteers handled two additional calls for service—both reported dwelling fires in Station 70’s first due area. Each incident was scaled back by local units prior to Engine 80’s arrival.

The Columbia Borough Fire Department thanked its volunteers and mutual aid partners for their quick response and continued dedication to community safety.
