Port Royal, Pa. — November 11 — While their crews worked at a first-due house fire in Perry County, Friendship Fire Company No. 1 moved Squad 1 to Ickesburg Fire. While Ickesburg units stayed dedicated to the fireground, the squad stood by to provide coverage for the district, guaranteeing that calls could be attended. Up to Squad 1's release and return to Port Royal, the move allowed for continuous service throughout the region.
