Myerstown, Pa. — November 15 — Kutztown Community Fire Company responded to a consistent stream of calls throughout the day. Due to a suspected oven fire, the first run occurred on the 48-04 box in South Lebanon Township. PT32 arrived with five, but the unit had already been put into duty and the fire had already been extinguished without an extension.

An hour or so later, the company received its second box alarm of the day and was dispatched to the Borough's 31-08 box to help Keystone Hook & Ladder Company No. 1 with a multi-family house fire. Engine 32 arrived with five, helped with a primary search and ventilation, and obtained a backup water source.
