BART TOWNSHIP, PA — October 1, 2025 — At approximately 9:20 a.m. Tuesday, the Bart Township Fire Company and mutual aid units were dispatched to the 1000 block of Mount Pleasant Road for a reported dwelling fire. According to the 911 caller, the fire had originated in the kitchen and was spreading through the home.
Engine 51-2 arrived to find a single-story ranch-style dwelling with smoke showing from the front. The crew stretched a handline to the front door, made entry, and quickly knocked down the bulk of the fire. Tower 57 was able to navigate the steep and narrow driveway, positioning at the front of the residence to assist with initial suppression efforts.
