Port Royal, Pa. — November 11 — As the holiday got underway, Friendship Fire Company No. 1 dealt with two incidents. Squad 1 put one line in service to put out a wood-pile fire in Turbett Township late at night. Squad 1 and Utility 1 were called to a motor vehicle collision at the top of Tyson Hill on Route 75 early this morning. The town lost power after a car hit and sheared a utility pole. Until PPL Electric arrived, workers secured the area and controlled traffic.
