Ambulances 8-1 and 8-2 First on Scene at Rollover Crash

Parkesburg, Pa. — October 30 —At 12:46 p.m., Keystone Valley Fire Department, EMS, and Sadsburyville Fire Company responded to a rollover incident on the Route 30 Bypass around mile marker 268.1 eastbound. Callers reported a single vehicle overturned with possible entrapment, and later reports showed one individual strolling around the site with gray smoke emanating from the vehicle. Ambulance 8-1 and Ambulance 8-2 arrived first, confirmed the rollover, and immediately began providing critical treatment.

Sadsburyville units barricaded the road and managed automobile risks while Deputy 31 took command. Ambulance 8-1 took one patient to the hospital for evaluation, while Ambulance 8-2 was cleared to resume service. Fire units remained until Pennsylvania State Police and the tow truck arrived, at which point the area was turned over to PSP. Ambulance 8-1 cleared the incident at 2:23 p.m.
