November 28, 2025 — The Cranford Fire Department announced that the Monster Mash Cereal Dash, scheduled for November 29, 2025, has been canceled due to the anticipated weather conditions. Organizers emphasized that safety concerns made it impossible to hold the event as planned.

Although the popular “domino dash” portion will not take place, the community’s generosity continues to make a meaningful impact. Thanks to local donations, 800 boxes of cereal will still be distributed to families in need throughout the area.

Residents are reminded that contributions to Cranford Family Care can be made year-round. A donation drop box is available in the lobby of the Cranford Fire Department headquarters for those wishing to support local families at any time.
