Cranford Fire Department Honors Veterans on Veterans Day
November 11, 2025 — The Cranford Fire Department joined communities across the nation in observing Veterans Day, honoring the men and women whose courage, sacrifice, and service have safeguarded the freedoms Americans enjoy each day.
As part of the department’s tribute, special recognition was given to the veterans currently serving within its own ranks:
- Lt. Giordino — United States Marine Corps
- Firefighter Bisset — United States Army
- Fire Inspector Moran — United States Coast Guard
Firefighter Taberna — United States Coast Guard
The department emphasized that the commitment of these individuals did not end when they completed their military service; rather, it continues every day through their dedication to protecting the residents of Cranford.
“To all veterans—thank you for your service, your sacrifice, and your example,” the department said in its message of gratitude.
