November 2, 2025 — The Fanwood Fire Department has announced that Santa will be returning to Fanwood on Saturday, December 13, continuing one of the community’s most cherished holiday traditions.

In preparation for Santa’s visit, the department will hold its annual gift collection from December 1 through December 5, with volunteers accepting drop-offs each evening from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

The department emphasizes the importance of following all gift size and packaging requirements, noting that last year several gifts had to be declined because they did not meet the necessary guidelines.
