Avondale, Pa. — November 7 — On Friday, the Avondale Fire Company was dispatched to the 1200 block of Newark Road in New Garden Township for a reported motor vehicle accident. Crews arrived to find a two-vehicle collision, with one vehicle resting on its side.

All occupants had safely self-extricated before the department’s arrival, and no injuries were reported. A section of Newark Road was closed while fire and EMS personnel secured the scene and checked for hazards. The roadway was reopened once operations were completed.
