Mountain Lake Fire Company Recognizes Veteran Members
November 11, 2025 —The Mountain Lake Fire Company paused to honor and recognize all who have served our country, offering special appreciation to the veterans within its own ranks. The company expressed sincere gratitude to Past Chiefs Ron Buckenmeyer, Frank Jalosky, and Al LaBarre; Life Members Pete Kolln and Ken MacDonald; Fire Police Captain Tony DiLauri; Fire Police Officer Pete Hubert Sr.; FF/EMT Rob Binder; and Firefighters Dane Thomas, Dustin Nevins, and Isabel Reyes for their military service.
They also acknowledged the many past members who served, as well as current members still serving, including FF Will Petersen and others who continue to serve quietly and humbly.
The Mountain Lake Fire Company extended heartfelt thanks to all veterans—past, present, and future—for their sacrifice, courage, and unwavering commitment to protecting our freedoms.
