The Huntington Volunteer Fire Company No. 1 released its October activity report, noting a total of 25 calls for service, including 16 fire-related responses and 9 EMS calls.

Throughout the month, members remained active both operationally and within the community. The company hosted its annual duck race fundraiser as well as another monthly breakfast. Firefighters also participated in a mutual aid drill with 82F at the Warren County Fire Academy, strengthening teamwork and coordination with neighboring departments.

The fire company received a donation from Tractor Supply, which members said was greatly appreciated and will support ongoing operations.

Community engagement continued as members escorted Santa during the Phillipsburg–Easton Halloween Parade and conducted their Halloween standby, patrolling local streets and handing out candy to families.

The department also announced its next event: the monthly breakfast on November 23.
