Southern Manatee Fire Assists Florida Forestry Service with Brush Fire

Bradenton, FL - On November 15th, the Florida Forestry Service was called to the scene of a smoke complaint at 2317 41 ST EAST. On arrival, a large pile of debris was on fire.
Southern Manatee Fire & Rescue was dispatched to the same location at the same time. The two services came up with a plan to extinguish the large pile of debris.
Southern Manatee Fire District shuttled water from a nearby hydrant, using just under 3,000-gallons to extinguish the fire.
