Ambridge, Pa. — October 31 — On Friday, an early-morning smoke report brought Ambridge Firefighters and mutual-aid crews to the Harmony Haus senior living facility just after 12:45 a.m. Staff helped residents move to the first-floor meeting area as firefighters investigated a light haze found inside the building.
Crews traced the issue to a malfunction involving a handler unit and secured power to the system. With no fire extension found, residents were able to return to their rooms once the building was confirmed safe.
