Cherry Hill, N.J. — November 2 —Cherry Hill firefighters were at the Covered Bridge neighborhood today for the follow-up after an accidental fire that happened earlier this week. The firemen got in touch with the people, took care of their questions about fire safety, and offered to check the smoke detectors of the houses in the neighborhood. Their visit was mainly about the necessity of having alarms that are working and giving the families the idea of going over and practicing their home emergency plans. The department gave the message to the people that it is absolutely essential that they check their detectors regularly and have very clear evacuation plans. Moreover, they can also find different kinds of safety information depending on the season on the township’s website.
