On November 3rd at 13:44 hours, Station 33 (Honey Brook) was alerted for an engine assisting Company 35 (Wagontown) for a reported dumpster fire in box area 3524. E331, E35, and Chief 33 made the initial response. Chester County Fire Board advised Chief 33 that flames from the dumpster was melting the siding off of the nearby residence, and the box was filled. E331 and Chief 33 arrived and confirmed the report, stretched two lines and began suppression efforts. Additional incoming units checked for extension and completed overhaul. Fortunately, the exterior fire had not extended into the interior of the residence, and the assignment was scaled back. Honey Brook units remained on-scene for 1.5 hours before being released. Chief 33 held the Cambridge Road command.
