Cherry Hill, N.J. — October 22 —Fire units from Cherry Hill went to the scene of a motor vehicle accident with a rescue needed in the Ashland area of the town. To get to the person who was trapped inside the vehicle, the rescue team cut the roof of the vehicle with the hydraulic rescue equipment. The driver who was stuck in the vehicle was brought out in a safe manner and was given first aid on the spot by the CHFD EMTs. After the vehicle was made safe and the road was reopened, the fire, and EMS staff left the scene.
