Structure Fire Contained on Rolling Meadows Road

This afternoon, the Waynesburg–Franklin Township Volunteer Fire Company responded to a reported structure fire on Rolling Meadows Road in Franklin Township. Crews arrived to find active fire conditions and immediately began suppression efforts to bring the incident under control.
Thanks to quick action and coordinated teamwork, the fire was contained and the scene was secured without further hazard to nearby properties. No additional injuries were reported at the time of response.
The department extends its appreciation to the agencies that assisted on scene, including Jefferson Volunteer Fire Company, Rices Landing Volunteer Fire Company, the Greene County Sheriff’s Office, PSP–Waynesburg, Waynesburg Borough Police Department, and PennDOT. Their support in traffic control, safety measures, and additional manpower played a vital role in ensuring an efficient and safe operation.
