On October 22, members of the Waynesburg–Franklin Township Volunteer Fire Company continued their tradition of community involvement by supporting the Early Intervention Program’s annual Good Old Fashion Halloween Party at the Greene County Fairgrounds.

The event, designed to provide a safe, inclusive, and festive environment for children and families, once again brought together local organizations, volunteers, and community members for an afternoon of Halloween fun. Firefighters assisted with activities, interacted with families, and helped ensure the event ran smoothly.

The Waynesburg–Franklin Township VFC has supported this Halloween celebration for several years, reaffirming its commitment not only to emergency response but also to community engagement. Their participation helps strengthen connections with residents while providing a positive experience for children served by the Early Intervention Program.

The department expressed appreciation for the opportunity to take part in the event and looks forward to continuing its support in the years ahead.
