Shirley N.Y. - At approximately 3:54 PM on Saturday November 13th the Brookhaven Fire Department was toned out for a reported hazardous condition at Chipotle on Montauk Highway. Chief Dan DiPinto was first on scene and found that the facade of the building in front of Chipotle had fallen and damaged some near by cars. Both Engine 9 (5-3-9) and Engine 8 (5-3-8) arrived on scene and quickly went to work and secured the area off so nobody would get hurt and check for other damage besides the collapse outside the building. Chief DiPinto radio to Fire-Com and asked for the Town Fire Marshal and the Town Building inspector to be notified due to the collapse. There was no injuries reported and the area remained closed off for a period of time.
