KINGSTON, PA - Around 11:09 P.M. on Saturday, November 13th, Kingston FD along with Edwardsville ladder and Wilkes Barre Engine 2 as the RIT team were dispatched to a residential structure fire with the attic reported to be on fire. When Kingston arrived they confirmed a working structure fire and called for a second-alarm box to be dispatched. Kingston laid in a full bed of five-inch hose and stretched two lines for an interior attack on the fire. Units worked for around three hours putting the fire out, doing overhaul and checking for extensions. The fire is currently under investigation, and so far two families are displaced.
