Blakely, Pa. — October 25 — Three members of Blakely Hose Company No. 2 received recognition for their recent accomplishments in the Essentials of Firefighting curriculum. Jaden Sweeney and Hailey Esterline, two members, finished the whole course, including the live-burn module needed for Pennsylvania's interior operations. David Ragan, a junior participant, completed Module 3 and advanced through the program's supervised training track. The agency stated that these accomplishments demonstrate ongoing investment in firefighter training and bolster its operational preparedness.
