Mifflintown, Pa. — November 3 — Dispatched as Box 1-02, Mifflintown Hose Co. #1 helped Friendship Fire Company No. 1 at a working home fire on Sawmill Road in Turbett Township. As part of the first-alarm assignment, truck, engine, tanker, and utility teams responded. Businesses worked on overhaul, water supply, and suppression for about three hours. There were no reported injuries. The scene was assisted by other departments and EMS units, and multiple transfers were made to ensure county-wide coverage. During the prolonged operation, Harshbarger's and Supporting Our Heroes of Central Pennsylvania supplied food and beverages for the crews.
