Wilkins Township, Pa. — October 26 —Wilkins Township Volunteer Fire Company No. 1 responded with 302ENG and other fire departments for a reported kitchen fire. Crews arrived and found a small fire limited to the oven. Firefighters secured the appliance, confirmed that the fire had not spread, and ventilated the home before leaving the scene.
Wilkins Township VFC No. 1 thanked all the mutual aid departments for their help.
