Doylestown, Pa. — November 10 — Doylestown Fire Company No. 1 continued its tradition of community service by assisting local veterans who needed help repairing a flag lanyard.

While best known for emergency response, the company regularly supports organizations and residents throughout the borough. When the call came from veterans seeking help to restore their flag display, firefighters responded promptly to ensure the American flag was raised with respect and care.
