Laureldale Firefighters Extinguish Vehicle Fire on Atlantic City Expressway

Laureldale, N.J. — October 18, 2025 —Just before 6:30 p.m., Laureldale Fire Rescue received a call about a vehicle fire on the Atlantic City Expressway. Engine 33 arrived and found a vehicle fully engulfed in flames. They quickly set up an attack line to control the fire.
Tanker 38 responded and parked as a blocker to keep the personnel safe while they worked along the highway shoulder. The crews worked effectively to put out the fire and stayed on scene until the vehicle was safely cleared from the roadway.
