SMITHTOWN, NY - On Sunday, November 9th, the Smithtown Fire Department was alerted for a reported house fire. On arrival of Smithtown 30, he found a car fire with extension to the garage and second floor. Smithtown engines arrived on scene and stretched lines. Smithtown Tower Ladder 7 arrived on scene and started searches and roof operations. Mutual aid arrived on scene and helped with extinguishing all fire and overhaul. The scene was placed under control within 2 hours.
